Xueting Christine Ni has been one of my favorite interviews of the year. Talking with her about her translation work, Chinese science fiction, and second languages was the highlight of my day. Her latest work, Sinopticon 2021 is a celebration of all of those things, and is the topic of our discussion today.

Personally, I enjoyed several of the stories. I particularly liked “Qiankun and Alex,” “Starship: Library,” and “The Last Save,” but I think you’ll like those and several others as well. Give it a read and you’ll see what I mean!

You can learn more about Xueting’s work at her website HERE. You can also catch up with her latest news at her Twitter feed HERE.
